Long-lasting results: Microblading can last up to 2 years depending on skin type, lifestyle and aftercare.
Correcting asymmetry: The procedure can help correct uneven or asymmetrical eyebrows.

Low maintenance: It requires minimal touch-ups and can be done every 1-2 years.
Customizable: Microblading can be customized to match your natural hair color and the shape of your face.
Time-saving: Eliminate the need for daily eyebrow makeup application, saving you time and effort in the morning.
It is important to keep in mind that microblading is a semi-permanent treatment, so it’s important to find a qualified and experienced professional to perform the procedure and to follow the proper aftercare instructions to ensure the best results.
Eyebrow microblading should not be confused with eyebrow tattoos. For microblading I use a small manual tool with a blade to insert pigment into the upper layers of your skin.
Using the microblade, I “scratch” the upper layer of the skin and create very thin lines that match your eyebrow direction and colour. By the time the procedure is done, you might find it difficult to differentiate your real brows from the microblade ones.
If microblading is done on normal/healthy skin, then it can last anywhere from 1-2 years and I recommend a top-up session anywhere after 1 year.
Here’s the step-by-step process of the microblading procedure:
When arriving at your appointment, I will have a look at how you normally get your eyebrows done (to better understand your preference) and also have a look at your natural eyebrows.
I use a ruler to indicate the ending and beginning points of your new eyebrows. I will listen to your shape preference and I will input what’s possible to achieve realistically. After all, we want natural brows that don’t look out of place.
Once we decided on the general shape I will go ahead and draw the shape with a pen. We can adjust the drawing until you and I are delighted with the shape of the brows.
I will then use a fine needle to create small, hair-like strokes in the skin. The pigment is deposited into the skin, creating the appearance of natural-looking hairs. The full procedure usually takes around 2 hours to complete.
After the procedure, I will apply a healing ointment and provide you with aftercare instructions to follow to ensure the best results. It is important to avoid getting your eyebrows wet or applying makeup for at least a week after the procedure.
The final results will be visible after the healing process is over (around 7-14 days) and the color will appear lighter and softer. A touch-up session is necessary 4-6 weeks after the first procedure to perfect the shape and color, and to ensure the longevity of the pigment.

It’s perfect for anyone who wants a natural-looking and low-maintenance solution for their eyebrows.
It’s great for those with sensitive skin, as the pigment is applied to the top layers of the skin and does not penetrate deep into the skin.

To ensure beautiful and long-lasting results, it is essential to understand the appropriate aftercare for your newly microbladed eyebrows during their natural healing process.
Before deciding to get your eyebrows microbladed, you might want to schedule a consultation (over the phone or in person), where we can go over any skin conditions or allergies you may have, address any concerns or questions you may have, and provide you with more information about the procedure. Keep in mind that this consultation is free, and you are under no obligation to proceed with the treatment.
If you decide to go for it here’s what you should do in order to recover as effectively as possible during the healing process. It’s important to remember that everyone’s skin is different and healing time may vary from person to person. But, if you follow the aftercare instructions provided, then the healing process should be smooth and manageable.
Immediately after the procedure: I will apply a healing ointment and provide you with aftercare instructions. It’s essential to avoid getting your eyebrows wet or applying makeup for at least a week after the procedure.
Days 1-3: You may experience some redness, itching, and mild swelling around the treated area. These symptoms are normal and should subside within a few days.
Days 4-7: The treated area will start to scab and flake, but it’s important to avoid picking or scratching at them.
Days 8-14: The scabs will start to fall off, revealing the final color of the eyebrows. The color may appear lighter and softer than the initial result.
Week 4-6: A touch-up session is necessary to perfect the shape and color and ensure the pigment’s longevity.
Follow these simple instructions in order to get the best out of your freshly microstroked brows:
For at least a week avoid swimming, sweating excessively, and getting the treated area wet while taking showers
Apply a thin layer of healing ointment or moisturize: This will help the skin heal and prevent scabbing.
Avoid direct sun exposure: Wear a hat or use sunscreen with at least 30 SPF to protect the treated area from UV rays.
Avoid touching or scratching the treated area: Touching the treated area can cause infection and may affect the final result.
Avoid using makeup on the treated area for at least a week: This includes brow pencils, pomades, and powders.
Keep the treated area clean: Use a mild cleanser to gently clean the treated area, and avoid using any exfoliating products.
Keep the treated area dry: Avoid using any oil-based products near the treated area, as they can cause the pigment to fade.
Follow up with me (or your technician): You should schedule a follow-up appointment 4-6 weeks after the initial procedure to check the healing process and to make any necessary touch-ups.
Microblading and eyebrow tattooing are similar in that they both involve the use of pigment to create the appearance of fuller, more defined eyebrows. However, there are some differences between the two techniques.
Microblading is a form of semi-permanent tattooing that uses a small handheld tool to create fine, hair-like strokes in the skin. It is designed to mimic the look of natural hair and can create very natural-looking results.
Eyebrow tattooing, on the other hand, is a more traditional form of tattooing that uses a machine to deposit pigment into the skin. The results can be less natural-looking than microblading, and the pigment is usually applied more deeply into the skin. This can create a more solid, filled-in look.
Eyebrow tattooing or permanent makeup is also a more invasive procedure and can require more touch-ups and aftercare than microblading. Microblading lasts for 1-2 years, while eyebrow tattooing lasts longer, around 3-5 years.
The longevity of microblading results can vary depending on a number of factors, such as skin type, aftercare, and lifestyle. On average, microblading can last anywhere from 1-2 years before needing to be touched up. However, it is important to note that some people may need to touch-up their microblading sooner while others may find their microblading lasts longer.
Some factors that can affect the longevity of microblading include:
Skin type: People with oily skin may find that their microblading fades more quickly than those with dry skin.
Sun exposure: Exposure to UV rays can cause the pigment to fade more quickly.
Lifestyle: People who swim or sweat frequently may find that their microblading fades more quickly.
Aftercare: Proper aftercare is crucial in ensuring the longevity of microblading. If you don’t follow the aftercare instructions provided by your technician, your microblading may fade more quickly.
Yes, it is possible to remove microblading. However, the method used for removal will depend on the type of pigments used, the depth of the pigment, and the individual’s skin type.
Some methods for removing microblading include:
Laser removal: This method uses laser energy to break down the pigment, allowing it to be absorbed by the body. It’s considered the most effective method for removing microblading.
Saline solution: This method uses a saline solution to dissolve the pigments. It is considered less effective than laser removal.
Microdermabrasion or chemical peel: This method uses a chemical solution or physical abrasion to remove the top layers of skin, along with the pigments.
The whole microblading process typically takes around 2 hours to complete. This includes a consultation, the actual procedure, and aftercare instructions.
During the consultation, your technician will discuss your desired shape, color, and size of your eyebrows, and any skin conditions or allergies you may have. They will also answer any questions you may have.
The actual procedure usually takes around 1-1.5 hours. During this time, your technician will use a small handheld tool to create fine, hair-like strokes in the skin, mimicking the look of natural hair. Pigment will be deposited into the skin, creating the appearance of natural-looking eyebrows.
After the procedure, your technician will apply a healing ointment and provide you with aftercare instructions. This usually takes around 30 minutes.
Also, a touch-up session is necessary 4-6 weeks after the first procedure to perfect the shape and color and ensure the pigment’s longevity.
No, you do not have to shave your eyebrows before getting microblading done. In fact, it is not recommended to shave your eyebrows before the procedure. Your technician will use the existing hair in your eyebrows as a guide for creating the new shape, and shaving them would remove the reference points.
Instead, your technician will trim any longer hairs, and tweeze or wax any stray hairs to create a clean canvas for the procedure. During the consultation, your technician will work with you to create a shape that complements your natural brows and face shape.
Yes, your natural eyebrows will continue to grow after the microblading procedure. Microblading is a semi-permanent tattooing technique that involves depositing pigment into the top layers of the skin. It does not remove or damage the hair follicles, and your natural eyebrows will continue to grow.
The number of microblading sessions needed can vary depending on factors such as the individual’s skin type, the desired look, and the fading of the pigment over time. Typically, a touch-up session is recommended 4 to 6 weeks after the initial procedure, and then an annual touch-up is recommended to maintain the desired look. However, it’s best to consult with a trained professional or licensed esthetician who can give you a more accurate estimate based on your specific needs and goals.
When done by a trained and licensed professional, microblading is considered safe. However, it’s important to do your research and ensure that the person performing the procedure is reputable and has a good track record.
Some people may experience a slight discomfort during the procedure, but it is usually minimal. A numbing cream can be applied to reduce pain and discomfort.
Aftercare instructions may vary depending on the person performing the procedure, but generally, it’s important to keep the area clean and dry, avoid sun exposure and swimming, and not apply makeup or skincare products to the area for a period of time following the procedure.
It depends on the severity of your sensitivity. It’s important to consult with a trained professional or licensed esthetician who can determine if microblading is a safe option for you based on your skin type and any medical conditions you may have.
As with any procedure that involves breaking the skin, there is a small risk of infection. However, the risk can be reduced by ensuring that the person performing the procedure is properly trained and follows proper sanitation protocols.
